Military Model Scene

This is not 'new' news as these have been available for a while, however, I only recently spotted them. The FV 432 is an APC which has seen many years of service in the British Army, and while some can be found in private ownership these days, many are still in service.  After many years of wating for a large scale kit of it, Takom made a very welcome release of the basic FV 432 a while ago (they do the upgraded 'Bulldog' variant as a separate kit). It has interior detail and is a very nice model in itself.  Thanks to Accurate Armour, we also have these resin conversion kits which might well encourage modellers to try some alternative variants.

C109 - FV432 PEAK Turret Conversion

Designed for the Takom FV432 Mk2/1 N0.2066 this set includes a replacement exhaust system without the extension pipe and finer detail, hull roof in line with the service period of the type and the PEAK GPMG Turret with full interior. Also included is colour decals with 4 registrations applicable to the type and Armoured Corps markings, first aid box, optional weight class disks and fire extinguisher decals.

C110 - FV432-30 MCV Conversion

Designed for the Takom FV432 Mk2/1 N0.2066 this exterior set includes accurate and detailed Fox turret, mating collar, backdated exhaust, backdated hull roof and revised vehicle cupola. The set contains a small brass fret for the turret details and rod for the canon. Also in the set are full colour decals, including fire extinguisher labels, weight disks, registrations and unit markings. Comprehensive instructions and an accurate painting guide for the Berlin Camouflage scheme researched from a serving vehicle are also included.
