Military Model Scene

The Panzerfahre was a lightly armoured version of the Landwasserschlepper, which in turn was not built in large numbers but did go into service.  The Panzerfahre had only 2 prototypes built (Dragon do separate kits of each one) but the situation in the second half of the war had changed so development was not continued.  One of the trials was to have a floating bridge or pontoon, call it what you will, that could carry a medium tank across a river, supported by a Panzerfahre on either side.  These prototypes also made use of Pz IV running gear which is evident on the model.

The kit itself goes together nicely and does include DS styrene one piece tracks.
