Bergepanzer III in 1/72...
...an 'Easy Build' kit from IBG
First in a new series of 'Easy Build' kits from Poland based manufacturer IBG is a recovery variant of the Pz III, a Bergepanzer. Moulded in a grey plastic, this is indeed quick and easy to build. The track units and running gear are one piece units which does make it much simpler to build. The only drawback is that the roadwheels are 'solid' and look like a single wheel, rather than the two wheels of the real thing, with the gap which formed the path for the guide teeth of the track. This it noticeable on the two spares on the back of the engine deck. The turret was removed and replaced with a simple wooden box structure, along with a small crane. So, a distinctive look to the recovery version and while simplified, IBG have made a neat job of it. You can add stowage and additional details but generally, I think these 'Easy Build' models should be popular.

I bought mine through Tiger Hobbies here in the UK.
