Number 5o in the TopDrawings series of books from Kagero, for the P-47 Thunderbolt D variants, specifically the D-25, D=27, D-30 and D-40 models.  In the case of this book, all the drawings are presented in 1/48 scale, a very popular modellers scale in recent years.  A couple of pages do feature some detail elements presented in 1/24, including the huge Double Wasp rotary engine.

There are 20 pages in all, plus an inserted sheet which folds out for the plan views of the D-25 and D-30.  The other insert is a set of canopy and wheel painting masks for use on 1/48 models.  The back cover and centre pages carry some very fine colour profiles of 10 specific aircraft.

A good set of scale drawings which added to the colour profiles and the masks keep the focus firmly for modellers.  The historical background is provided on the first page and is presented in both English and Polish languages.
