LCT 4 in 1/150 (N-Gauge)...
...a build of the resin kit from Gramodels
Graham Baker has been producing his range of resin models for many years. It started with a series of 1/76 vehicle models but over the years the variety of models he does has expanded. Among them are a series of N-Gauge models, very much aimed at the N-Gauge model railway enthusiast. However, there are some lovely little models that are interesting, even if you are not a railway modeller.
Among these is an LCT 4 which makes up rather nicely. The vehicles are not included in the kit itself, but you can select your own choices from the associated models in the same scale and which are also available from Graham. I chose to add just an illustrative selection of AFV's, including a Churchill ARK, Churchill Crocodile, 2x Churchill AVRE, a Cromwell and a Sherman Firefly.
The LCT itself makes up nicely and is not difficult. What you do need to find is twine or rod to create the safety railings. I used thread, though if I did it again I'd probably choose to use fine rod instead.
The colour scheme is a common one on the LCT4, which you can find illustrated in various books on the Landing Craft of WW2, and is a standard pattern.
