This new set of colours from Lifecolor work very nicely.  The figures shown on the box art feature models by Tommy's War, a series of 54mm scale WW1 figures which I my personal opinion are about the best you can find for quality and detail.  I have used another Tommy's War figure from my own collection to try out this new set of paints.  I found that they brushed on very nicely, straight from the (well shaken) pot.  What I have chosen to do is not attempt to add all the shading associated with a finished figure but to just take photos of it having applied the basic colours.  I have used 5 of the 6 colours from the set, with Uniform Brown for the trousers, Dark leather for the jerkin, Red Leather for boots and pouches, and the two Webbing and Equipment colours.  Clearly to finish the figure it will want all the shading added and the flesh painted fully, but in the meantime I leave it here so you can get a good idea of the colours as they come inthe base set.

Water soluble acrylic colours for modelling and hobby. LifeColor is excellent for paint brushing or airbrushing on plastic, resin, metal, vinyl, wood, cloth and ceramic.

Using LifeColor:
1.Clean surfaces to be painted
2.For airbrushing, dilute the colour to a milky consistency using water or LifeColor Thinner.
3.Airbrush at very low pressures. (Iwata airbrushes give the best performance and atomisation at low pressures.)
4.Apply colour in thin coats with a brush or airbrush
5.Allow to dry completely between coats
6.Clean your airbrush with airbrush cleaner and flush through with water
