...4 new figure sets due soon

News from Master Box of 4 new figure sets due out soon. All are sci-fi related, with 2 in 1/24 and another 2 in 1/35.

Master Box company continues to work on a new series of kits in 1/24 scale dedicated to the Strange Company's adventures, subject of space fiction and connected by a single story.

We would like to emphasize that the choice of this direction is due to the fact that space science fiction is very popular both in cinema and in computer games. At the same time, we did not become attached to the characters of specific serials, movies or games, and tried to make our figures rather universal to interest both fans, for example, of "Star Wars", "Expanse", "Star Trek" etc., and fans of various computer games of this subject. This position is occupied by us absolutely consciously, as it removes the restrictions associated with the fact that the interest in the product does not go beyond the interest in a particular movie or in a particular video game and, therefore, limits strictly the number of those who can be interested in this product.

We would like to remind that the series consists of separate groups of kits telling about separate episodes of Strange Company’s adventures - the characters that we invented and that act within the framework of the story invented by us. In fact, each group of kits is a kind of mini-comics, just made in plastic. Each character, each figure has own name and own biography that is reflected on the box. This approach makes each figure a person, as if animating it and, accordingly, making it more attractive by giving more scope for modeller’s imagination.

The general name of the series is “At the Edge of the Universe. Strange Company’s adventures”. The first release consists of seven (!) kits showing the first episode of their adventures – a random meeting that takes place in the bar of the peripheral space station, which serves as the place of the shelter and of refueling of space transporters officially, and as the intersection of grifters and violators of the Galactic Law of all stripes inofficially.

Now we are creating a new line of Strange Company’s adventures and are introducing two new characters, they are Lieutenant Helen Parsons of the Galaxy Battle Fleet and Pirate Chuck, a Monster from the Nifrath planet from the Belt of the Underdeveloped Territories. Both these characters being absolutely different in origin too will become gladiators and having gone through many dangerous adventures, will become the part of the Strange Company.

1) 24056 “Dimachaerus (master of two blades) Champion – “Parselen” AKA Helen Parsons. At the Edge of the Universe. Strange Company’s Adventures. Episode III. Future Crew Members.”

Lieutenant Helen Parsons of the Galaxy Battle Fleet Research Vessel the Magellan uncovered a secret, when the Magellan discovered a planet HD219134 b in the Cassiopeia constellation. The secret was so alarming that unfortunately the discovery sealed fate of the crew. The entire crew of the ship thought to be killed to keep secrecy, but Helen survived. She got on a pirate ship Devastator, then captured it and evaded the Galactic Security Service for three long years until she was, nevertheless, captured. The head of the GSS assessed Helen’s outstanding physical and mental data, had her memories erased and sent her to the school of gladiators, where she became a Dimachaerus, a master of two blades and is currently one of the most famous gladiators in the entire Galaxy. She went through the hell of fights of the Jubilee – All Galaxy Gladiator Games and in the final fight she would have to meet Chuck, a Monster from the depths of the Underdeveloped Territories. However, the fight went wrong and suddenly Chuck (who was a crew member with Helen on the pirate ship) sparked all of Helen’s memories to come back to her. Now she has to figure out how to stand in the battle and to regain their freedom.

The choice of 1/24 scale exactly for this series of the kits is caused by that it is the most preferable scale for the figures of such kind that allows reaching more qualitative level of performing details that is highly appreciated by the modellers. We would emphasize that besides high artistic level, the figures are very simple in the assembly and they will give a lot of pleasure to modellers during the work with it.

Also we would emphasize that the figure of Helen Parsons will allow the modeller using it for creating both of independent mini-diorama and of more large-scale scene with the use of figure of Master Box company from 24057 kit.

We also want to emphasize especially that the modeller can use this figure for creating mini-diorama in fantasy style.

The kit is made in 1/24 scale.

2) 24057 “Beastorian (any one of the many beast like races) Champion – “Chuck” AKA Nifrath. At the Edge of the Universe. Strange Company’s Adventures. Episode III. Future Crew Members.”

Nifrath, a creature from the depths of the Belt of the Underdeveloped Territories, who has a name that not human could pronounce and who is called, therefore, Chuck, was a crew member of the pirate ship Devastator. It was exactly the ship that captured Lieutenant Helen Parsons, who survived in a mysterious catastrophe. During the chase of Lieutenant Parsons by the Government Special Forces the pirate ship was captured along with the crew. According to Galactic law: As pirates, they are immediately executed, but Chuck was selected for gladiatorial fights instead of immediate annihilation. A few years of captivity turned already rather vicious nifrath into a real Monster, but the meeting in the final battle of the Jubilee – All Galaxy Gladiator Games with Lieutenant Helen Parsons, a former prisoner of the pirate crew, changes his fate abruptly and new adventures are waiting for the Strange Company, replenished with a new member.

Also we would emphasize that the figure of Chuck can be used by the modeller for creating both of independent mini-diorama and of more large-scale scene with the use of figure of Master Box company from 24056 kit.

We also want to emphasize especially that the modeller can use this figure for creating mini-diorama in fantasy style.

The box contains a separate sheet with instruction, it is attached.

3) 35199 “Desert Battle Series. Skull Clan - New Amazons. This is not the place for strangers!”

This kit continues the series of kits in 1/35 scale dedicated to fictional post-apocalyptic period and it shows adventures of New Amazons - tribal association of women who reject male society fundamentally and use men exclusively for procreation.
The kit includes the parts for the assembly of 5 figures – 4 figures of girls-warriors and 1 figure showing man-warrior who was captured by New Amazons after the fight.
All figures of the kit are filled with powerful internal energy, powerful emotion and contains the whole story. The kit allows creating both an independent vignette and large-scale diorama by using the figures from 35122 "Desert Battle Series, Skull Clan - Death Angels" kit.

The figures are united by the single story, they are animated very well and interact with each other greatly, but at the same time each of figures has so bright inside expression that it allows seeing the whole story even in the single figure and creating independent vignette with the use of any figure from the kit at modeller’s choice.

The kit is performed in 1/35 scale.

4) 35200 “Somewhere on our planet. Sharing a smoke”

This kit covers a very painful topic of using children in the war as soldiers that is a war crime. The kit includes two adult fighters, members of the PMC and two African boys taken as soldiers into one of the local armed groups.
Despite the story of the kit is not action all figures of the kit are filled with powerful internal energy, powerful emotion and contains the whole story.
