Meng Toon T-34/76...
...building the Meng kit
Having previously built their Toon Tiger I, I chose to have another go at another purely for some fun and a bit of relaxation. In the same way I have built examples of the Cute series of caricature aircraft from Tiger Models, so Meng also have gone in for some of these caricature style models. As well as a few aircraft, they have done a couple of tanks and the one I chose to try is their Tiger I. It is designed to encourage the younger modeller in particular and can be assembled without the need for glue. The main parts I put together without using glue, just to see how it went, though I did use glue to fix one or two of the smaller details into place, just to make sure they stay there (specifically the headlights and the main gun barrel). The wheels all go round rather than being fixed in place and the tracks are supplied as one piece bands which fit well over the running gear, but which can then rotate with the wheels once it is built.
The fit of parts was good and assembly was quite quick. It has had a base coat of green paint, filter, details and weathering still to do, plus the transfers...but I'll update this when that gets done...

I bought mine through Tiger Hobbies Ltd here in the UK
