Military Model Scene

I have already featured the Plastic Soldier Company kit of this in 15mm scale, but as usual, they have also done it in 1/72, though this includes 3 complete models in the box rather than 5 as in the smaller scale version.  The one option you have is either to fit the tilt or not. In doing this the  small cut outs at the rear inside edge of the tilt, which will fit over the ends of the tailgate are not quite long enough for a perfect fit, which is a contrast to the rest of the kit which goes together a treat.  Fortunately this isn't difficult to resolve and the end result fits nicely.  With this larger scale model, the cab windows are open and to go inside there are a choice of crew figures, a driver and passenger.  There are actually two pair on each sprue, on pair in battledress (with long sleeves) and the other two are in shorts with rolled up sleeves.  So, a well thought out choice so you can have a crew for NW Europe or for North Africa.

There are no transfers included in the kit, but the Plastic Soldier Company do have a handy range of transfers available separately so you can choose your preferred units markings.

This is a growing range of models and rightly proving popular.  For the gamer, then with 3 per box, this is good for building up your units.
