SU-76 in 15mm scale...
...5 models for the wargames market in the one box, from The Plastic Soldier Company
A recent release from The Plastic Soldier Company in their range of 15mm scale wargames models comes the Russian SU-76. As usual with their kits in this scale, there are 5 complete models included in the box. The good news is that you can make either early or late variants plus they have included crew figures which are done in both winter and summer uniforms, so whichever you choose you have extra figures left for your spare box. There is one issue with the kit in that the air intake, which is indicated on the instructions seems to have been missed off the sprue, so it is absent for all 5 models. That is a real shame but it is what it is. At this point I have no news on what might be done to sort it. I have been advised that it has been sorted for their 1/72 scale release, which is due about now. The kits build up neatly enough, with a good fit of parts. There are optional parts for the superstructure, and these provide the different looks for the early and late variants.
With 5 per box, this is a good value way of building up your wargame units. No transfers are included with the kit, but PSC do have them available in separate packs.
