Another addition to the TopDrawings series from Kagero, this one looking at some later variants of the FW 190. More of their excellent scale drawings, in 1/48 scale. With the usual introductory page that gives the background to these variants, provided in both English and Polish languages. The opening pages show us the S-variants, which were the two-seaters, the S-5 and the S-8, each based on the A-5 and A-8 single seaters respectively. Then there are F and G variants as well. In particular you get changes to the canopy and the tail while the highlight for many will be the different armament fits and the extra drawings we get for weapons such as a variety of bombs, the Ru-344 air-to-air missile, the Panzerschrek 2 launcher and the Blomm und Voss BV 226 'Hagelkorn' flying bomb. The final page then has a set of 1/72 profiles with shaded elements of each type which highlight their specific changes.
In the centre of the book, and on the back cover, we get their beautiful colour profiles which modellers will love. There are two other 'added extras'. the first being a little sheet of canopy masks designed for both Eduard 1/72 and 1/48 models. The other one, which is new, is a separate sheet with a print of a fine picture of an F-8 overflying a couple of Russian T-34s. Perfect to slip into a frame on and hang on your study/hall wall.

Another fine addition to this series from Kagero
