Number 71 in the TopDrawings series from Kagero, and an Italian aviation subject this time. The MC.202, the Folgore, was a step forward in Italian fighter design in WW2. Entering service in 1941 the 202 was fitted with an enclosed cockpit and an inline engine, originally the German built DB 601 A-1 though this was replaced with a licence built copy made by Alfa Romeo. It went through some detail changes over the production run of some 1100 examples, elements such as armament and air filters. As well as the airframes, detail drawings show engines, engine mountings, instruments, tail wheel and wing cross section.
Following the usual format for this series the opening page gives the background to the type (in both English and Polish languages)and it is then followed by a series of scale drawings which illustrate prototype, early and late variants, in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 scales and as something special, the two larger fold-out sheets tucked into the book provide scale plans in the larger 1/24 scale as well. The centre pages and the back cover have 10 of their excellent colour profiles and there is also a small sheet of painting masks to fit the Hasegawa 1/72 kit.

Another good addition to this series from Kagero.
