One of the latest additions to the Top Drawings series of softcover books from Kagero, this is their Volume 2 on the topic of the Messerschmitt Bf 110. While Vol 1 took on the early versions, now we get to the later variants, including the radar equipped nightfighters.
With 27 pages plus two larger, fold-out sheets tucked into the book, there are some neatly drawn scale plans in both 1/48 and 1/72 scales, while the 4 centre pages plus the back cover carry some equally fine colour profiles illustrating a mix of camouflage and marking schemes. Also included, just to emphasise the link to modellers, there is also a set of cockpit canopy masks included, to be used with the 1/72 and 1/48 scale kits from Eduard. The side views on the first 15 pages of plans are all 1/48, and cover from the Bf 110 E, F and G variants. The final 8 pages are all in 1/72, and these include shaded elements which indicate the structural differences between the different variants. It also gives a good illustration of the different style of nose mounted aerials used on the later variants. Plan views, including for the 1/48 versions are featured on the separate fold out plan sheets. As for the colour artwork, the centre pages carry super illustrations of a Bf 110 in grey camouflage and markings that feature the distinctive Wasp design on the nose that makes for a colourful model subject.

Another neat addition to this series from Kagero
